Conscious Alliance, One World Running, and The Tatanka Music Festival are proud to announce that we will be hosting a food drive and shoe drive to benefit the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.
All Festival patrons that donate 10 non-perishable food items or a pair of good condition running shoes will receive a limited-edition Tatanka poster by artist, Chris Huang. Posters will also be available for a suggested monetary donation of $10.
Donation bins will be located outside the main entrance to the festival. Posters can be redeemed anytime during the event at the Conscious Alliance “Art that Feeds” Gallery Tent, located inside the festival grounds. This location will also be hosting a silent auction for the original Tatanka Festival poster.
The Conscious Alliance is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit dedicated to feeding the hungry in cities and Indian Reservations across the United States. Our approach involves staging food drives to redirect the abundance and generosity that exists in the music, art and athletic communities.
The Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health food oriented products. “Organic” food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN NOODLES will NOT be accepted in exchange for the FREE poster.
Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere the music plays!
